Lactobacillus acidophilus; Lactobacillus plantarum; Lactobacillus casei; Lactococcus lactis; Lactobacillus rhamnosus; Bifidobacterium bifidum; Bifidobacterium breve; Bifidobacterium lactis; Streptococcus thermophilus. Oligofructan Probiotic Activity Enhancer. Vegetarian capsule (cellulose). Trace: milk, soya, & barley growth medium residues, inert titanium white.

There are many products, including most yogurts with active cultures, that contain Lactobacillus acidophilus. While Lactobacillus acidophilus is a beneficial probiotic, it is not the same as Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG). Read the label carefully to be sure you're a getting a product that contains LGG.

All species in Anna & John’s blend are non-GMO, because nature works best. Lactobacillus acidophilus (decreases the incidence of certain diseases, including yeast infections in the upper digestive tract - especially those caused by Candida albicans, and by competing with pathogens, decreases the incidence of other gastrointestinal disorders.)

Lactobacillus plantarum (may reduce allergic reactions, help to mop up free radicals, and naturally produces hydrogen peroxide, which keeps down pathogenic bacteria.)
Lactobacillus casei (Known to improve digestion and reduce lactose intolerance. Has been shown to reduce flatulence and strengthens the effects of Lactobacillus acidophilus growth.)

Lactococcus lactis (Immune stimulation, improves digestive health, reduces antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Produces enzymes that are essential for good digestion.)
Lactobacillus rhamnosus (Inhibits the growth of most harmful bacteria in the intestine better than any other known probiotic, stimulates the production of antibodies in response to a viral infection, and enhances phagocytosis - which helps the body defeat pathogens and parasites. Can assist the natural production of beta-interferon, one of the body’s most powerful ways to fight disease and system imbalance.)

Bifidobacterium bifidum (Helps digestion, and is associated with a lower incidence of allergies, and assisting the development of a very powerful and balanced immune system.)

Bifidobacterium breve (B breve is like has a superior ability to break down many types of food, even plant fibres that are normally considered non-digestible. The enzymes produced by B breve are essential to good gut health.)

Bifidobacterium lactis (A very hardy probiotic species that stays active for a long time and outcompetes pathogenic bacteria for resources. This can rapidly reduce pathogens, especially in cases where antibiotics have left pathogenic bacteria in contol.)

Streptococcus thermophilus (Stimulates disease-fighting cells. The bacteria also appears to reduce the amount of nitrites - known to cause cancer in the body.)
